WHAT IS STRENGTH & CONDITIONING?

Strength & Conditioning is the physical AND physiological development
of athletes. The role of a strength and conditioning is to use exercise
prescription specifically to improve performance. They also help
individuals, be it a teen or an aged or an elite athlete, with injury
prevention and proper mechanics. Strength & Conditioning is about
more than lifting weights...


- it encompasses the entire development of the athlete and what is needed to improve physical performance. This includes plyometrics, gymnastics, speed & agility, endurance and core stability with strength training being just one piece of the jigsaw.

Three to six months will go by before we repeat a workout in our programming. Your body is forced to adapt to anything and everything, so it's always learning and developing. Workouts are typically short - 20 minutes or less - and intense, demanding all-out physical exertion. They combine movements such as running, rowing, jumping rope, weightlifting, gymnastics, as well as numerous body weight exercises. Each day you show up to a new carefully chosen -alpha routine." We get you warmed up, we spend some time working on coordination skills or strength, and then we jump into the workout, as a group! Afterwards we'll typically cool down with some stretching. We keep track of your performance on each day so that you can see your progress over time.

• At Alpha 7 Seas our mission is to help you achieve your personal goals, be they on the field, the court, the mountain or just keeping up with the kids and grandkids. We safely build a foundation of movement skills beginning with a client's bodyweight only, and progressing to loaded external objects such as barbells, dumbbells and medicine balls.

• Our program is intentionally stratified into beginner, intermediate and advanced classes which allow us to meet the needs of all of our clients. Using this method, we slowly increase both movement complexity and exercise intensity to optimize client results. We strike a balance between performance, health and longevity by integrating sound nutrition, smart training and the

benefits of a community oriented fitness approach. This may sound technical, but it's not. It's just safe, effective and FUN! • There isn't a strength and conditioning program anywhere that works with a greater diversity of tools, modalities, and drills. At Alpha 7 Seas there are no ego's, and no room for bad attitudes.

What do you get in the basic gym membership? You pay the base amount to use the entire gym facility. At Alpha 7 Seas, we program your workouts as per the need of an individual. We scale the workouts as and when necessary, provide you with nutritional solutions, if requested. Weightlifting, gymnastics, endurance, mobility, strength. There are many things to learn and odds are you probably haven�t even heard about most of them. A educated coach will be on your side and lead you all the way. You will not see any person doing Deadlifts with a rounded back while some other employee stands next to him and checks WhatsApp. we are here to deliver the results if you show us your commitment & dedication towards it.
